Terms
The terms for working with TDB Media Solutions, in plain English. Your proposal says what you're getting and what it costs.
TDB Media Solutions is Tom, a sole trader, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZC261420). Payments are taken by card or Revolut Pay through Stripe, or by bank transfer for anything invoiced. I'm not VAT registered, so there's no VAT on any price. Questions: [email protected].
Terms for one-off work
These terms cover one-off prices: the website for a one-off price, the setup fee for the enquiry assistant and CRM, and the Discovery session. Your proposal says what you're getting and what it costs. Where the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal wins.
Who you're dealing with
TDB Media Solutions is Tom, a sole trader. You deal with me directly. I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and I'm not VAT registered, so there's no VAT on any price.
Paying
- Websites and setup fees: half to start, as a deposit, and the other half when it goes live.
- The Discovery session: paid in full before the session. If you go ahead with a project afterwards, the whole amount comes off its price.
You can pay by card or Revolut Pay through Stripe, using the link on your invoice, or by bank transfer to the account on the invoice. Stripe handles the payment; I never see or store your card details.
What I need from you
I'll send you a short checklist before I start. Usually that's your logo, photos, the services you offer, your prices as you want them shown, your opening hours, and access to your domain (or the name of the company you bought it from). For the assistant, it's the facts it may answer from and who should take the follow-up calls. I can't start until I have the essentials, and the timeline counts from when I do.
Changes
Two rounds of changes are included before it goes live: you tell me everything you'd like changed, I change it, and then we do that once more. Anything after that, or anything new, gets a fixed price from me first.
If things go quiet
If I'm waiting on you for 30 days (content, a decision, an answer), I'll pause the project and let you know. The deposit covers the work done so far and isn't refunded. Pick it up again whenever you're ready: we agree a new date and carry on from where we stopped.
When it's finished
When the balance is paid, the website, the domain and everything I made for you are yours.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Terms for monthly plans
These terms cover anything you pay for monthly: the website plan, the enquiry assistant and CRM, the Care plan and the weekly industry brief. Your proposal says which plan you're on and what it costs. Where the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal wins.
Who you're dealing with
TDB Media Solutions is Tom, a sole trader. You deal with me directly. I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office and I'm not VAT registered, so there's no VAT on any price.
What's included
Exactly what your proposal lists, nothing hidden. For every monthly plan that means I keep it running, keep it secure, and make small changes when you ask. A change that's more than small (a new page, a new feature, a new kind of automation) gets a fixed price from me first, and I don't start until you've said yes.
How quickly I respond
If your website or assistant has stopped working, I'll acknowledge it within 4 working hours, start on it the same working day, and keep you updated until it's fixed. Anything else, a question or a change request, gets a reply within one working day.
Paying
Monthly plans are paid in advance each month by card or Revolut Pay through Stripe, using the link I send you. Stripe handles the payment; I never see or store your card details.
If a payment fails or stops
If a payment doesn't go through, I'll let you know and give you time to sort it out.
- The enquiry assistant and CRM: if a payment is still unpaid, I'll give you 14 days' written notice before switching the assistant off. Your CRM and its contents stay yours.
- The website plan: once you've made 12 monthly payments, the website is yours to keep, whatever happens after. Before that, if payments stop, I'll give you 14 days' written notice before taking the site offline. It comes back when the remaining monthly payments are paid as one lump sum, and then the site is yours.
Cancelling
- The website plan runs for 12 monthly payments, after which it ends and the site is yours. You can finish early by paying the remaining monthly payments as one lump sum. After the 12th payment you can move to the Care plan if you'd like me to keep looking after it, or leave with everything.
- Every other monthly plan: the first 3 months are the minimum. After that, give me 30 days' notice at any time and it ends at the end of that notice.
Your data when a plan ends
Your domain, website, CRM and accounts are in your name, so you take them with you. Anything I hold for you (for example the assistant's conversations, or files you sent me) is returned to you or deleted within 30 days of the plan ending, as the privacy notice says. The assistant's conversations are deleted after 90 days anyway.
Price changes
If a monthly price is going to change, I'll tell you in writing at least 60 days before it does. If you don't want to carry on at the new price, you can cancel before it starts.
